Iglesias was born on April 8 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. When she was 20 years old, she moved to Los Angeles in hopes of making a career for herself after working for three years at Energizer. Marcela acquired a degree in Broadcasting, specializing in radio and journalism in Argentina.

Iglesias started her career when she was 20 years old when she immigrated to the United States in 2000.
