Early Life and Education
Ariana Sajnani was born in Long Island, New York. Her father is a seasoned IT executive. Her mother has a PhD in Public Health Policy. Ariana grew up in Stamford, Connecticut, US, where she spent her early childhood. She moved to California in 2006. Throughout her childhood, Ariana was actively involved in the performing arts- being the lead soloist in the show choir in middle school. During high school she was involved (in lead roles) with various theater groups and productions in and out of school. In addition, she was a competitive swimmer for 15 years and trained with her High School team as well as with the Darien YMCA Piranhas Swim team. She earned a BA in Theater from California State University Northridge. Upon graduation, she continued her studies in Mumbai India. She received her two year Acting Diploma from Subhash Ghai’s Film Institute, “Whistling Woods International Limited.” Later, she returned to New York and received an MFA in Theater from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University, New York, US.[2]

Ariana also performed in various performances at the prestigious Prithvi Theater in 2022 in Mumbai, India.[3][4]
Film Career
Ariana made her full length Bollywood feature film debut in “Welcome to New York (2017) as the character of “Annie”. The film was produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Ariana acted alongside A-listers such as Sonakshi Sinha, Boman Irani and Lara Dutta. She starred in the lead role of “Ana” in the 2023 film, “Sir Madam Sarpanch”, opposite Seema Biswas and directed by Praveen Morchhale. In 2024, she appeared in the film, “Aflatoon” (Marathi Film) in the role of the “Goa Girl on the Bus”. This was her first Marathi Speaking role. The film later on was made into an English film titled “The Defective Detectives” in which she played the same character of the “Goa Girl on the Bus).[5]
Web Series
Ariana was in the American web series “Stardumb” as the role of Kayla. The series was written and directed by Nhut Le.
Television Career
Ariana had a recurring role in the hit Bollywood Television series, “Partners Trouble Ho Gayi Double (2017-2018) in the role of Sharmili. She acted opposite Kiku Sharda and Vipul Roy. The series was produced and aired by SAB TV

Music Career
In addition to acting, Ariana is also a singer. She released several songs on online streaming platforms, including Spotify, ITunes and many more. Her music video to one of her hit singles, “Lesson Learned” was aired on VH1 Soundnation (India) in 2022.[6]
