Karthik was born on May 30, 1994, in Salem, Tamil Nadu, to parents Karnan and Kaladevi, who worked as weavers. From a young age, Karthik displayed ingenuity by crafting toys from discarded materials. Despite facing challenges in memorizing lessons, he excelled in grasping concepts and applying them practically.
He attended a government school and later graduated with a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Knowledge Institute of Technology, Salem, in 2016. During his studies, he earned several prestigious awards, including:
