Payel is the daughter of Mr. Gopal Sarkar and Mrs. Baby Sarkar is a mother. Her father is a owner of the restaurant “Blue-Moon restaurant” and her mother is a owner of Beauty Parlour. Payel manages her own Production company, Payel sarkar organization pvt ltd, and is involved in social work. She is a active member of political party All India Trinamool Congress. Payel is seen in all the campaigns of the political party All India Trinamool Congress as Payel is closely associated with the All India Trinamool Congress. She is a former West Bengal state General Secretary of ALL INDIA HUMAN RIGHTS & presently she is a state president of NATIONAL ANTI-CORRUPTION & CRIME CONTROL BUREAU.
