Anshuman Naik was born in Rourkela, Odisha, India. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and later earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD). He also underwent postgraduate medical training at the Christian Medical College, Vellore.

He pursued additional certifications and professional training in clinical diabetology, endocrinology, thyroid disorders, obesity management, counselling, bioethics, sexual medicine, and hospital management.
