Kilaparthy Velankanni Satish was born on 19 June 1977 in the coastal city of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, to Kilaparthy Samba Murthy.
He completed his basic schooling and business management graduation in Andhra Pradesh before relocating to Karnataka to pursue post-graduate studies. He obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Mysore.
