Following his schooling, Ricky pursued a degree in Computer Science Engineering from Bansal Institute of Science and Technology, graduating in 2008. His technical background in engineering provided him with valuable skills that would later assist him in his business ventures.
Determined to expand his knowledge and expertise, Mr. Agrawal furthered his education by obtaining an MBA from the University of London, UK, in 2011. Professional Journey
Ricky began his professional career in 2004 by joining his father’s business. Due to the regional limitations of his father’s business in Madhya Pradesh, he sought opportunities for diversification. His search led him to the real estate sector, where he met Mr. Sanjeev Agrawal, CMD of Sage Group.
In early 2012, Ricky launched his first real estate project, Sage Eden Garden, in collaboration with Mr. Sanjeev Agrawal. Since then, he has successfully completed five major projects with the Sage Group:

Apollo Sage Hospital
During the COVID-19 crisis, Bhopal faced a critical shortage of hospital beds and inadequate healthcare services. Observing this urgent need, Mr. Ricky Agrawal and Mr. Sanjeev Agrawal realized that Bhopal was the only state capital in India without a premier corporate hospital. They decided to address this gap by establishing Apollo Sage, a 350-bedded state-of-the-art hospital. The hospital was inaugurated by Former CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan on January 4, 2023, and aims to enhance the quality of medical care in Bhopal by partnering with Apollo Hospitals, Asia’s foremost healthcare network.
Community Involvement
Mr. Ricky Agrawal is actively involved in several community organizations:
- Van Bandhu Parishad: A committed member for over ten years, contributing to the welfare of children, and currently serving as secretary.
- Chapter Bhopal: Member for the past ten years.
- Young Indians: An engaged member for the past seven years.
- Roundtable: Active member for four years, currently serving as the Integration Chair.
- EO Bhopal: Active member for five years, recently honored as Head of EO Bhopal.
Family Background
Ricky’s family plays a supportive role in his endeavors. His mother, Vimala Agrawal, is a dedicated homemaker, while his father, Kamal Kishore Agrawal, has been a successful government contractor and business owner since 1988, specializing in road safety equipment. Ricky himself is an advisor at Sage Group, where his wife, Megha Agrawal, a Chartered Accountant and financial advisor, also contributes significantly to the family’s professional ventures.
