Arpit Singh Sisodia (born 1 June 1992) is an Indian educator and entrepreneur, serving as the Co-Founder, Chief Information Officer (CIO), and Coordinator of Ahana Edtech & Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. Based in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, Sisodia is recognized for revolutionizing education by developing custom-branded study apps for private schools and mentoring over 90 IAS and IPS officers.
Early Life and Education
Born in Bhopal to a Rajput family of royal Mewar lineage, Sisodia's paternal roots lie in Pratapgarh and Mandsaur, while his maternal ties are to the Kushwah family of Bhind. Despite facing bullying and confidence issues in childhood, he built resilience through physical discipline, including running 10 kilometers daily.
Sisodia qualified for PMT and was admitted to MBBS but later shifted to engineering. He went on to earn degrees in Engineering, B.Ed., B.A., and M.A. in History. He also cleared UGC NET and UPSC Prelims, reflecting his academic rigor.
Career
Ahana IAS Academy
In 2014, Sisodia and his wife, Vaibhavshree, founded Ahana Coaching and later Ahana IAS Academy, which gained prominence for UPSC and MPPSC preparation. He mentored notable toppers like Jatin Jain (AIR 91), Pavitra Goyal (AIR 109), Shrusti Jain (AIR 165), and Shubham Kaurav (AIR 291). Over 3,600 hours of his lectures were sold to EdTech platforms in 2024.
Ahana Edtech & Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd.
Founded in 2015, Ahana Edtech provides white-labeled apps for schools, covering K-12 and entrance exams. Its headquarters is in Ratlam, with offices in Noida, Bangalore, Jaipur, Bhopal, and studios across India. The company serves over 400 Indian and 100 international CBSE schools and enables ₹5,000+ crore in combined revenue.
Its "Gold Mine Classes" offer lifetime access for 99 years, supporting NEP 2020 and Startup India. With over 15 lakh students enrolled, the apps include AI-powered features, secure login, EMI options, and career guidance tools.
Contributions and Vision
Sisodia champions Gandhian and Integral Humanism ideals, supporting self-reliant education through the Vocal for Local and ODOP missions. He envisions transforming Indian schools into modern Nalanda-style institutions, rivaling elite schools globally.
Personal Life
He married Vaibhavshree Sisodia on 24 February 2018. Together, they transitioned from financial hardship during COVID-19 to building a ₹100 crore EdTech empire. They have two daughters, Mishka Singh Sisodia and Arunya Pratap Singh Sisodia.
