Early Life and Education
Deepankar Kumar was born in Patna, Bihar, India. He completed his early education up to the 10th grade in Patna before relocating to Pune to pursue higher studies. Eventually, he moved to Mumbai, where he began his journey in the film industry, following his passion for cinema and storytelling.
Career
Kumar began acting in theatre and gained recognition through roles in TV shows, including Sanjeevini 2. He featured in short films such as The Perfect Match, which is streaming on MX Player, Hungama Play, Pocket Films, and Shorted.in.
He has acted in several television commercials, including for brands like Moj App, Classic Rummy, Billbook App, Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance, Winzo Games, Himalaya Lip Balm, and Junglee Rummy.
In April 2021, Deepankar made his directorial debut with Kasturi (The Story of Untouchable), a short film addressing social issues.
