Dr. Abdul Hakeem (born 23 October 1976) is an Indian physiotherapist, chiropractor clinician, academic, and healthcare professional based in Kalaburagi, Karnataka. He is known for his contributions to physiotherapy and chiropractic education, research, and advanced pain management practices.

Early life and education

Dr. Abdul Hakeem was born in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, to Abdul Wahab and Qamarunnisa.

He completed his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physiotherapy in 2022 from JJTU Rajasthan. He earned a Master of Physiotherapy (Cardio-Respiratory) in July 2017 from the Vinayaka Missions University, Salem, Tamil Nadu.

He completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Transitory) in August 2010, along with a six-month compulsory rotatory internship from Vinayaka Missions College of Physiotherapy. He also holds a Diploma in Physiotherapy from Keerthi Institute of Physiotherapy, Gulbarga, affiliated with the Para Medical Board of Karnataka.

Additionally, he has obtained a Diplomat in Osteopathic Practice (DOMP) from Palms Institute, Osaka, Japan, and a Doctor of Science (DSc) in Chiropractic from Japan. He has also undergone advanced chiropractic training, including Dr. Paul Ackermann’s Master of Chiropractic program in Stockholm, Sweden.

Career

Dr. Abdul Hakeem serves as the Managing Director of Care Physiotherapy and Chiropractic Centre. He is also the Dean at United College of Physiotherapy, Kalaburagi, Karnataka.

His professional work spans clinical practice, academic teaching, and rehabilitation services, with a focus on advanced physiotherapy techniques and chronic pain management.
