Dr. Mangesh Dash (born 7 May 1972) is an Indian thought leader, consultant, and professional trainer known for his expertise in neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), leadership, and stress management. He is the founder of TWARAN and Managing Director of CHDNLR Pvt. Ltd. and has been engaged in corporate training, research, and academia since 1994.
Early life and education
Dr. Dash was born in Aska, Odisha, on 7 May 1972. He studied at FCI School, Talcher, followed by Government College, Angul, where he completed a B.Sc. in Physics (Hons.). He pursued postgraduate studies in personnel management and industrial relations at Utkal University, earning a master’s, M.Phil., and PhD in occupational stress management.
He also undertook advanced learning at XLRI Jamshedpur, IIT Kharagpur, MDI Gurgaon, and Medvarsity Hyderabad. He later acquired certifications from McStem Eduversity (USA) and the Association for Professional Coaching (UK).
He is certified as an NLP Master Trainer, Advanced Life Coach, Clinical Counsellor, Hypnotherapist, and Group Process Facilitator.
Career
Mangesh Dash began his career in 1994 as HRD Manager at Hotel Keshari, Bhubaneswar. He went on to hold leadership and teaching roles such as Assistant Professor and Dean at IMIS Bhubaneswar (1996–2000), Principal Consultant at TQM Consultancy Services (2000–2001), and Director of DRIEMS Business School, Cuttack (2011–2012).
In 2013, he co-founded TWARAN to support knowledge sharing and organizational growth. Since 2020, he has been leading CHDNLR Pvt. Ltd.—a firm specializing in corporate training, design thinking, organizational development, and NLP practices.
He has conducted training and consulting projects across industries, working with organizations such as Rolls Royce, SBI, ICICI Lombard, Abbott, Wockhardt, NTPC, Tata Power, NALCO, and the Aditya Birla Group.
Research and publications
Dr. Dash has contributed research papers and conference presentations in the fields of stress management, HR development, and organizational behavior. His doctoral research, A Study on Occupational Stress in Banks, was completed at Utkal University. He has published more than 11 papers in national journals and participated in 15 conferences.
