History
Founded in 1986 by Biswadip Ghosh, Ghosh Group began with a mission to address critical gaps in the Indian Railways' information systems. The Group’s inaugural breakthrough came with the digitization of Kharagpur railway station, where it introduced digital passenger information display boards, marking a transformative shift in how rail information was communicated. Operating from a modest workshop in Kolkata, Mr. Ghosh’s pioneering efforts laid the technological foundation for the company’s future growth.
Over the following decades, Ghosh Group diversified into infrastructure, information technology, healthcare, and publishing, launching dedicated subsidiaries for each sector. A defining moment in its corporate evolution was the formation of Ghosh Synergy LLP in 2025, an ISO-certified entity established to unify strategic planning and governance across the Group’s expanding portfolio.
