Early life and education

Prasad was raised in Rourkela, Odisha, where he completed his early education. He attended Deepika EM School and later pursued science at Ispat College, Rourkela.

He subsequently enrolled at the International Institute of Hotel Management, Kolkata, where he obtained a diploma in Hotel Management and Applied Nutrition.

He also completed industrial training at The Leela Beach, Goa, gaining practical exposure to professional kitchens and hospitality operations.

Prasad began his career in 1995, working in junior culinary roles. His early assignment was as a Commis III at The Park, New Delhi, where he worked on continental cuisine.
