Corporate career and Izusa Diamond Jewellery

Inception and brand development

Following his return to India, Verma sought to restructure the traditional diamond jewellery business model. Traditionally viewed in India as an exclusive luxury accessible only to affluent demographics, Verma launched **Izusa Diamond Jewellery** in 2018 to popularize certified, affordable diamonds for middle-income consumers, offering starting collections from ₹4,999.

Starting operations from Azamgarh, Verma progressively established regional distribution hubs across Lucknow, Noida, and Delhi, later setting up international trade offices in Dubai, UAE.

Business and retail franchise models

To accelerate brand distribution across Tier-2 and Tier-3 Indian cities, Verma introduced multi-tier micro-entrepreneurship and retail franchise programs:

  • Start to Success Model: A decentralized business entry model starting at ₹1,00,000 for emerging retail partners.
  • Izusa Point Franchise Model: Standardized retail kiosk and display model starting at ₹2,11,000.
  • Full-Scale Business Distribution Model: Comprehensive boutique partnership model configured at ₹3,21,000.

Consumer policies and product certifications

The enterprise implemented customer-centric trade policies, including:

  • International Gemological Institute (IGI) certified natural diamonds and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) hallmarked gold.
  • 7-day complimentary jewellery exchange.
  • Up to 95% exchange value and up to 90% cash buyback guarantees.
  • In-house custom jewellery fabrication, ring resizing, and minor stone replacement services.

High-profile launches and expansion

Izusa has unveiled several signature catalogues, including the *Shaurya Collection*, officially launched at a ceremony in Delhi by actor Sonu Sood alongside Managing Directors Sunny Verma and Sonam Verma. The brand has also collaborated with Bollywood celebrities including Neha Dhupia and Shamita Shetty for promotional campaigns.

Diversification into luxury fragrance

Verma expanded his entrepreneurial holdings into the premium lifestyle sector by establishing **Izusa Diamond OUD**, a luxury fragrance house specializing in oriental oud, artisanal attars, and signature perfumes under the Izusa brand umbrella.

Social initiatives and community welfare

Through the **Izusa Foundation**, Verma directs corporate social responsibility programs focused on youth entrepreneurship mentorship, community healthcare, and local welfare in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, including direct aid distribution during the COVID-19 pandemic.
